Greensboro, NC Save-A-Lot Grocery Store held their Grand Opening at Spring Valley Shopping Center on Wednesday, April 15, 2003. Councilman Belvin Jessup cut the ribbon along with Dave Buehler, Chairman of Buehler Foods, the area franchisee.
Koury Corporation recently completed a major renovation to the shopping center. In conjunction with building the Save-A-Lot Store, the old Center's façade and canopies were removed and replaced with decorative awnings, a stucco façade, elevated parapets, new signage and additional lighting. Beautiful new landscaping was also added to the Center. As more than two hundred customers lined up to enter the store, Mr. Buehler enthusiastically commented “this is by far one of our better grand openings”.
Save-A-Lot occupies 15,431 square feet of the 100,000 square foot shopping center located at the intersection of Randleman and West Meadowview roads. Other merchants include Maxway, Colortyme, & Spring Valley Restaurant. Two (2) spaces of 1,500 square feet each are currently available.
