Atir Natural Nail Clinic Open at Village at North Elm
Atir Natural Nail Care Clinic is opening July 12th at The Village at North Elm, Greensboro’s premier mixed use village. Atir offers an innovative approach to manicures and pedicures with a four part program of natural nail care: hydration, maintenance, protection, and glamour.
Clients are escorted to their seats at the nail bar where they can sit side by side in a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere. Natural nail care treatment is available from a team of manicurists trained to identify nail problems and whose driving focus is to educate and re-educate customers on the negative effects of acrylic nails. Every customer receives an individualized program that will help achieve healthy, beautiful nails. In the pedicure area, basins are jet-free because jets are the primary cause of nail contamination. Atir uses the Swiss product line Mavala to heal, hydrate and protect hands and nails.
Natural nails are one of the fastest growing categories in the nail care industry. Women today are sporting short, well-groomed nails. Hospitals and food industries have begun discouraging artificial nails for health reasons since a direct link was discovered between artificial nails and the transmission of bacteria.
Founder Rita Gregory began researching natural nail care in 1988 when she noticed that wearing artificial nails weakened her natural nails. Her goal was to seek solutions rather than cover ups for nail problems. Today her concept is growing in 14 states.
Women and men of all ages can benefit from Atir’s specialized treatments. Atir’s goal is to bridge the gap between health and beauty. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Thursdays 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Appointments can be made by calling 288-6096.
Atir Natural Nail Clinic is in The Village at North Elm, a 23 acre “main street” village developed by Koury Corporation, located at the intersection of Elm Street and Pisgah Church Road in Greensboro. The Village boasts a unique collection of independent shops, boutiques and restaurants. The pedestrian-friendly environment includes street-front parking and oversized sidewalks surrounded by lush landscaping, wireless common areas, music, fountains, streetlamps and benches for a relaxing, intimate setting. The Village location offers easy access to all Greensboro major arteries.
